Service Shop
Blue Water Marine’s heated service shop is clean and well lit. A well organized work station with all
tools close at hand makes for quick repairs. We have the special tools and service manuals for outdrive
and engine repair to ensure it’s repaired correctly and to specification. |

We do use a marine dyno for testing and troubleshooting, which has proven itself in speed
and effectiveness of repairs in marine engines.

We carry all the most frequently serviced parts in stock. For the parts we don’t have, we can normally
get them by the next day. We also have a large supply of used parts including miscellaneous lower units
for I/O’s and outboards. The service shop also offers prop rebuilding, with a half to one week turn around
during the summer months.

Factory trained technician, with over 30 years of marine experience servicing most makes and models of
marine engines, with 7 of these years working in a saltwater environment. Experience includes rigging,
electrical, engine rebuild, drive rebuild, high performance, outboards, and troubleshooting of marine
engines.

Our winterization program for outboards and I/O’s include checking all fluids, grease all fittings,
stabilizing the fuel, fogging the engine, draining of all water and a minimum of 1 gallon of
environmentally safe -100 marine engine anti-freeze for all I/O’s. Winterizing of heads and water systems
as required. Winterization options include oil and lube change, fuel filter change, alignment, and small
repairs as needed.
